Today the US is 250 years old. How sad it is that it’s destroyed itself over the past fifty. Out of a global oil shock, stock disasters and recessions New York and its other great cities were rebuilt, teeming with hope and gleaming.

In the shadow of 9/11 just twenty years ago one could still walk NY’s streets at 2am safely, alone, visit an ATM and never be molested.
I was there during the GFC of ’08.
Today’s rot became noticeable in 2013 not merely with Boston’s Marathon horror, but as the great retail names began to close from west to east.
Today, those who have vowed to protect, defend and enshrine its Constitution’s intent have failed it miserably—have literally sold it out for a rort.
If non-citizens can vote, there is no longer a nation.
If baby factories can create citizens from those who can’t take a pledge of allegiance to the country, they are not citizens nor will their parents ever be—unless manufactured by those seeking to conjure their votes for their nation’s enemies too.
God Bless America.
So much you’ve overcome in such a short time, but now with your tercentenary uncertain you must find your exceptionalism in freedom again.
A country that can’t sanctify its citizenry is only a land conquered.
