UK Pandemic Inquiry Dooms Britons and the World to Continued Death, Infection and Debilitation

The UK today handed down Part 2 of its inquiry into the Covid-19 Pandemic and while it blamed it’s governments for mishandling the emergency causing thousands of unnecessary deaths, it has done nothing to end the virus’s impact societally nor economically due to one existential flaw: It omits the ongoing aerosol nature of Covid-19.

Focusing on what it calls “core political and administrative decision-making across the UK in response to the Covid-19 pandemic” the report comprises four parts: Module 2—UK, Module 2A—Scotland, Module 2B—Wales and Module 2C—Northern Ireland. Module 1 released last year, focused on “the UK’s structures and the procedures in place to prepare for and respond to a pandemic”.
In refusing to acknowledge the ongoing aerosol spread of Covid-19 and its repetitive re-infection without immunity from past infection or vaccine, this report misses the major factor in its overall finding that the UK, as a whole, “suffered from misinformation, fractured decision making and a disordered response”.
The report is all these.
It denies that Covid-19 remains the cause of the West’s Great Inflation, its supply chain carnage, its unreliable retail shelves, its exorbitant shipping costs, its workplace chaos by way of continued absenteeism and sickness, and its degradation of medical, hospital, paramedic and emergency care.
The Great Inflation has always been supply-side, exacerbated by the business sector’s desire to still claw back profits lost since 2020. It has pushed the price elasticity of demand into unsustainable realms of leverage.
Point 14 of the report’s eight-page summary, linked below, is the crux of the problem. It speaks of institutional confusion and government paralysis reacting to the pandemic. But it never uses the term “Covid Denial”.
Point 14 says: “In England, despite warnings, the UK government imposed weak restrictions, allowing the virus to continue to spread rapidly. If a ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown had been introduced in late September or early October 2020, the second national lockdown in England on 5 November could have been shorter or possibly avoided entirely.”
That’s denying Covid-19 reality. It doesn’t say that it’s the continual refusal of governments before and since to mandate public mask wearing, indoor air ventilation and indoor air-filtration, that have failed to stop Covid-19 mutating, spreading and thriving as we go into 2026.
And here we are.
Covid-19 will continue to cause negligent death and it will continue to discriminate against Blacks, the poor, the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. It will continue to cause heart disease in the otherwise fit and young, and it will continue to create a ticking time bomb of neurological illness as Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z begin to age, let alone whatever world of sickness it will endow to Gen Alpha as it enters adulthood.
Only one place in the West has managed to fully eradicate Covid-19 despite its initial mistakes causing deadly outbreaks.
That was the State of Victoria in Australia. Having let Covid-19 escape through stunning errors, it picked up the ball and ran one of the longest lockdowns in the world (more days in lockdowns cumulatively than anywhere globally). It then instituted indoor and outdoor mask mandates, strict retail and social distancing, and mandatory vaccination.
From hundreds to over a thousand cases a day, it gradually took the state to “Zero Day”: zero new cases, zero new deaths. And were it not for the refusal of its neighbouring state New South Wales that goaded the Federal Government into acquiescence in 2021, Australia might have served as a beacon of global hope through example.
Thing was, even had Europe, Asia and the Americas joined Victoria, it still left the Third World poorly governed, and waves of rampant illegal immigration streaming unabated as avenues of geographical spread.
The world didn’t come together. Indeed, the criminality of the World Health Organization’s failure to declare the aerosol nature of Covid-19 is what killed millions and destroyed economies and lives ongoing to this day.
Alas while this Report from the UK deserves some kudos, it hasn’t declared that the Covid Denial of aerosol contagion is an existential threat.
As with WHO, in failing to do so in the absence of a comprehensive preventative vaccine rendering Covid-19 easy to treat, easy to endure and easy to recover from, much suffering in the world will continue.
The medical legacy that this unabated Covid-19 will harvest ten to twenty years from now, should frighten everyone.
