Is Starmer’s Plan for a Free Palestine Just a Rehearsal for a Free Ireland?

Observers of the Middle East noted the ludicrousness of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s idea for a Palestinian state that he announced this week. He said that if Hamas releases Israel’s hostages still in captivity going on two years now, his UK will not declare a Palestinian State next month, but if they keep those hostages in their Gaza cells until September, his UK will declare a State of Palestine unequivocally.
That fiasco is only matched by my surprise last year at the official antisemitic rhetoric of the Republic of Ireland in support of Hamas, leading to the closure of the Israeli embassy in Dublin.

Put the two together, though, and a likely psychology driving Starmer and his Labour Party, the most socialist manifestation of Left wing politics I’ve ever seen in Britain, becomes clear.
It’s a mindset that establishes a reasonable hypothesis:
Keir Starmer does not care about Palestine at all.
Rather, in declaring a Free Palestine with a nod to “Hamas”, which translates into Arabic as “Islamic Resistance Movement”, uncannily paralleling the “Irish Republican Army” in both name and aims, he hopes to declare a Free Ireland.
In other words, by enabling a Palestinian State in September, Starmer wants to set a public precedent that will allow the UK to return Northern Ireland to the Irish Republic.
It makes sense now. All that controversy unilaterally returning the Chagos Islands to Mauritius last year was Starmer’s practice run. The precedent of giving away a Jewish State to Islam then, will make the return of Protestant Ireland to the Catholics easier for the British to digest.
If I’m correct, today’s UK foreign policy is being directed by Ireland on the Arab petrodollar. In terms of land, Islamist votes and socialist aims the UK, Ireland and Palestine all win.
Then again in thinking this, there may be too much Tom Clancy fiction coursing through my veins. I do hope so, because if not it’s Patriot Games indeed.
