International diplomacy is a game. When we remember that war is a tool of politics, and diplomacy is the language of politics we get a better understanding of how peace comes through chaos.

Unfortunately, politics is also the language of business, and we therefore often find people using that chaos to financially benefit themselves.
That’s how Black Lives Matter morphs into Trans Rights that morphs into Free Palestine that morphs into Pro-Iran that morphs back into Black Lives Matter with Reparations—and through the whole antisemitism becomes a catchy slogan.
Hence with hostages still in Hamas terror tunnels approaching 700 days but with Iran’s IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis in tatters, we see a move towards peace as Israel agrees to a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza with the support of Hamas’s financiers Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood’s hometown Egypt.
It’s now for Hamas to agree knowing their funding is about to be cut and that the Middle East is in the process of rebranding itself without them. Regime change takes time, patience, and powerful vision, with some business thrown in.
